Infrared test
The C-7070 is a very nice camera to handle, though a little slow writing RAW files. For IR work it offers the benefit of an optical viewfinder that is unaffected by the mounted IR filter.
Initial testing has begun with this camera. Noise is low at 80ISO but the camera’s IR blocking filter is obviously quite effective, with full sun images taken with the Hoya R72 IR filter coming in at 2 seconds and f4 at 80ISO.
